Karan Johar is a lot of things at the same time. A movie maverick, a producer, director, reality show host, immaculate dancer you would want to attend your shaadi (didn’t you see his moves at Sonam’s wedding?), the list really goes on. But the best part is, he doesn’t break into a sweat while being so many different things to so many different people. Like all these weren’t enough, the man, who is best friends with the who’s who of Bollywood, went on to add another feather to his hat and he’s a hoot at it too. If you haven’t heard already, Karan recently ventured into the radio space as a jockey, with his show Calling Karan, which airs on Ishq 104.8. And from love, ishq to dhokha – nothing really is off-topic, which is exactly why listeners took a liking to the show and the newly-minted RJ. In fact, the first season was such a hit that the makers had to come up with the second installment with KJo. For the uninitiated, the first couple of episodes have already been aired and you’ve missed out on some serious goss, if you haven’t tuned in yet. However, you have you have nothing to worry. We did and we’re here to share all about it. In the last episode titled, ‘It’s Complicated,’ there were many moments that had us in splits, however one declaration certainly left a smile on our face. When a caller dialled in to talk about her rakhi brother-turned-boyfriend and how she feels the stigma to break it to her parents, Karan said the ultimate truth, “When a guy and a girl are together they immediately ask us to call each other brother or sister.” But that’s not the highlight. “When Taimur comes, so the nurses start saying to call Taimur their brother. But why? May be 20 years later, Taimur wants to be with Roohi. Anything can happen 20 years later,” he explained. Now, that’ll be a ship (if and when it does). Apart from Calling Karan, Koffee with Karan season 6 has been announced by the ace filmmaker. He also shared the first pictures from the sets of the chat show and has revealed the new coffee mug. The new season will go on floors in September and boy, are we excited!
